Going back to the US felt strangely familiar, like finding my way back to a part of myself I hadn’t been in touch with for a long time. I felt like I was reconnecting with a version of myself I first met in 2022, when I went to the US to study photography.

I’ve always felt most like myself when I’m traveling, but this trip felt a little more like myself. There is something about being back in a place that introduced me to something I’ve come to love so deeply… Photography. Seeing the world through my lens again, remembering where that love began, and reconnecting with the people who made my time there in 2022 feel like home made this trip all the more meaningful.

It felt like life had brought me back to a part of myself I’d been missing. 🤍
